Shoppers can notice if the potency or formulas have changed

without comments

Quality control is usually fundamental for any manufacturer. Those producing health food vitamin supplements are definitely not an exception. Shoppers are not misled by subtle adjustments in effectiveness, consistency and flavor. They notice when it just is not the same.

The harvesting and picking method have been the most critical aspects of formulating a quality Noni product for any firm. It is crucial to understand where and under what conditions the Noni was grown, how and when it was picked, how the fruit flesh is handled, and what process is used to make the fruit to a juice.

Every last effort must be made to maintain the most effective elements in the Noni fruit and to ensure that the consumer is getting the most effective Noni product obtainable. Bear in mind recent study results on manufacturing Noni fruit.

With Noni’s therapeutic applications it seems like the result of its treasure of live compounds, it is evident that the high quality of the fruit and the system of processing may well be crucial to a product’s effectiveness and thus also its efficacy.

Producers that do not employ painstaking picking procedures and technologically advanced procedures normally have to resort to adulterating their product to stop bacterial growth in their product. This is of course similar to any kind of liquid nutritional supplement, fruit juice or spice.

TAHITIAN NONI Juice is made from Noni fruit puré. It in fact consists of small pieces of the Noni fruit in the bottle and that is precisely why we constantly remind our customers to shake the bottle very well before pouring.

Everyone may read a lot more about this amazing nutritional supplement on our web pages as we have information on Noni and the Morinda TAHITIAN NONI Juice .

TAHITIAN NONI Juice is really an important international small business opportunity.

As indicated at the bottom of all each of our web pages, these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and these products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Our website include the details in addition to ordering details.

XSite Pro: Pro Sites With XSite Pro 2

without comments

Xsite Pro first came on the scene awhile back, and I just yawned. After all it was just another website builder and that was nothing new to me. Honestly, with so many free website builders out there, paying for one seemed absurd! But due to the amount of sites I was cranking out (mostly outsourcing to freelancers), I eventually purchased it and I was truly amazed. Could this thing be so good and be a reality?

Xsite Pro matched my wildest dreams and surpassed my fantasies in a matter of just a few days. I immediately began building all my sites with it and with no trouble at all. It was a dream come true. Loaded with tutorials and an overactive members forum, I had no problems adjusting to the world of website building!

No more struggling with Dreamweaver or Front Page. No more paying someone to build my sites or pages. I had become a website builder myself with Xsite Pro. And they didn’t look like cheaply built sites either, but looked like professionals spent a good bit of time and talent on them.

No sooner had I gotten used to the software they came out with Xsite Pro 2. The added features to this were phenomenal! This software has put more revenue into my pocket and saved me a ton of cash by doing away with the other website designers I had employed. Amazing!

I can’t begin to list the features of Xsite Pro 2 here because it would take me pages to do so. What I can say is that it is so easy to implement that well.. a caveman could do it. I kid you not.

So if you are looking for a site builder or if you are struggling with the one you have you might just give this one a try because I promise you that there is nothing online that compares with Xsite Pro.

So You Want To Know About Micropayments

without comments

During the early days of the Internet, most of the contents found online are provided for free, either by different institutions or universities. As the years go by, the Internet has experienced various innovations. One major factor in the evolution of the Internet is the consumers’ ability to purchase, sell and advertise products and services, a concept that is more commonly referred to as e-Commerce or now even more recent… m Commerce.

As the popularity of the Internet continuously grows, it is only natural for the content providers to start looking for different ways of making money from mobile commerce and the content that they publish online. Basically, there are three ways for users to earn money from content; one is through advertising. Here, the content is available for free; however it comes with certain ads or links to their sponsor sites.

Another way for content providers to make money is by charging subscriptions, wherein consumers are required to pay a certain amount in exchange for access to the content for a certain period of time. The downside to the subscription model is that it only offers one choice to the consumer – either they do not pay the subscription and thus get no content or pay a substantial fee to get all the content. Oftentimes, this kind of choice led the consumers to move on to sites that offer content for free. Meanwhile, the third form of revenue is through donations that are solicited by the content providers themselves.

However, in 1998 a fourth form of revenue was proposed – the micropayment system. The concept of micropayments would not die down completely, nor would it fully come to life. What are micropayments, exactly? Micropayment is generally defined as the means of transferring small amounts of money (usually in pennies, nickel or dimes), usually in purchasing digital contents like music, movies, games and others.

Since charging such small amounts through the customary payment system like credit cards is impractical, the micropayment system is a viable option for those websites that wish to go “micro”. The main objective of micropayments is to target a high volume of consumers by offering content at a relatively low price. It is also usual for micropayment systems to accumulate several payments and then charge it in one regular payment.

Most micropayments advocates firmly believe that the micropayment system is the solution to the free rider problem for those sites that are solely dependent on advertising. As for websites that are charging subscription fees, micropayments will be a viable alternative in order to increase the number of their consumers.

However, regardless of all the benefits that micropayment systems seem to offer, its popularity among the consumers did not quite catch on for quite a time. This is mainly due to the pressing disadvantages that micropayment detractors are quick to point out. Most micropayment system detractors insist that micropayments would cause inconvenience rather than convenience to consumers. How so? The most popular argument used is the “mental transaction cost”.

What does mental transaction cost mean? Well, this is where a consumer stops and thinks twice whether the content is actually worth the price, regardless of how small the price is. This could cut down the number of your customer, since more people are likely to opt for free content.

The people pushing micropayments believe that the dollar cost of goods is the thing most responsible for deflecting readers from buying content, and that a reduction in price to micropayment levels will allow creators to begin charging for their work without deflecting readers.

Another possible drawback to using micropayment systems is that it requires the consumer to use major credit cards. Remember that Internet consumers are quite diverse in age; therefore, you cannot assume that all of them would have credit cards. Since teenagers are under the legal age, they do not have credit cards. Moreover, even among those consumers living in highly developed countries, not everyone has a credit card, and borrowing someone else’s credit card just to read a certain article in the Internet would prove to be a big inconvenience. Simply put, micropayment systems could very well alienate those consumers who do not have credit cards.

So with all these disadvantages, why do we need micropayments? With the growing demand for ethereal products (like information) in global economies and their immediate delivery at a low cost, the customary payment methods seemed to be impractical. Since most information found online (Web pages, Web links, etc.) cost barely a penny, the cost of charging in the usual payment method would turn out to be more expensive than the actual product. Thus, micropayment is a viable alternative.

A lot of content providers agreed that micropayments offer them the opportunity to regain the cost of online publishing, even possibly make money, that is, if they are popular enough. At present, content providers see their online popularity as a disadvantage since their popularity requires them to pay for large amounts of bandwidth. Another benefit that micropayment systems offer content providers is the opportunity to be completely free from sponsorship and advertising, which offers them more independence. Without advertising the provider could concentrate on publishing materials that interests their consumers instead of what interests their advertisers.

A payment consulting firm recently stated that micropayment systems are showing signs of recovery recently, what with the launching of Apple’s iTunes $0.99 a-song, the model is finally showing some signs of life. Furthermore, reports on the state of the paid content market shows that, content purchases below $5 increased 707% in 2002. A veritable accomplishment, since it made a seven-fold leap from virtually nothing.

Although, millions of people find the notion of purchasing $.99 songs at iTunes attractive, Apple’s administrators themselves admitted that most consumers still prefer purchasing larger album packages instead of the per song purchases. After all, Internet users do not purchase content as if they were a piece of candy. Some micropayment solutions even admit that their customers are loading less money into their accounts than what they initially expect which means that a considerable barrier still remains. Now, whether the micropayment system will eventually find success this time around or not will still depend on the consumers’ behavior, a hurdle that is yet to be crossed.

Heating hire for your workplace

without comments

With Christmas now over and at the start of 2010 we have cold weather upon us. It’s vital that companies, both commercial and industrial know where to turn to get efficient heating hire for their employees.

Productivity can fall at the beginning of the year with so many different projects and the daunting aspect of another year starting. That said, it’s important for workers to feel productive within the workplace during every season throughout the year and one way of ensuring this is by providing consistent temperatures throughout.

Specialists in heater hire have various units for companies to choose from to maximise the efficiency and warmth of their property. heating hire is an ideal solution to keeping warmth in without running up the bills.

Regarded as a modern replacement to water heating systems, some portable heater hire units could also double as a cooling system to ensure that workers aren’t too hot during summer and too cold during the colder months. This is the ideal solution and prepares your property all year round for any weather conditions that may occur.

Britain isn’t known for it’s warmth but with winters set to become cooler and summers getting hotter every year, a one stop solution to heating and cooling hire is exactly what is required from such providers.

The efficiency of such a heating hire system also means the quality of the air is enhanced providing fresher cleaner air that is not always possible with other heating systems. Alongside this, the other benefit is the consistency at which the temperature is maintained ensuring energy isn’t wasted and room temperature is regulated.

There are various benefits to portable heating hire systems and with more and more people becoming aware of their carbon foot print, it may time that more businesses invest in modern efficient systems.

Understanding Hair Loss

without comments

There is no magic potion that will instantly give you back a full crop of thick, lush hair. But if we look at the way advances in hair loss treatments have evolved recently, perhaps we’re not far from it.

Hair loss can be caused by many factors, the most common being Pattern Baldness which affects more then 40% of the male population.

Women also suffer from hair loss, although the causes can be quite different than in men. Baldness can be quite a degrading condition for millions of men and women, and can lead to psychological problems and feelings of self worthlessness.

But the scientific discoveries in recent years have made the treatments for balding more effective, and like all medical conditions, if you act on the problem when it is in it’s infancy, you’ve got a better chance of minimizing the effects, or even reversing the condition.

When you are feeling a little down with this problem it can help to get away for a bit, say for instance getting yourself off on some malta holidays, might do the trick, or even some where more exotic, the choice is yours.

Then again you may even want to just stay at home or work off the tension down at the local gym, followed by a really good home sauna.

Although these ideas wont help cure the problem, they can help take your mind off of it, for a bit.

The causes for hair loss are many and varied. Genetic ‘Pattern Baldness’ is the most common, but there are other very common causes such as Hormonal Imbalance, Illness, Poor Diet, Poor Hygiene, Drug Abuse and Stress.

These are just the core issues that contribute to the hair loss. To get a better understanding of exactly how the hair stops to reproduce entails a bit of a scientific look at how hair actually grows.

Hair grows in 3 stages. In the first stage (Anagen) a new hair is produced and this is the stage where most growth occurs. Next, in the Catagen (Regressive) stage, the hair has stopped growing but is yet to shed.

In the final stage (Telogen) the hair is resting and eventually falls out, and a new one begins to grow. In Pattern Baldness, DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) miniaturizes hair follicles by shortening the Anagen (growth) stage and at the same time can also lengthen the Telogen (resting) stage.

This is usually a gradual process, and the end result is an increase in the number of short, thin hairs which are barely visible above the scalp

What will the new Astra be like

without comments

With the new Vauxhall Astra for sale at the end of the year and with it going on display for the first time at the Frankfurt motor show in September there is a lot of excitement in the motoring world and the trade press is full of rumours and snap shots of the new model, could this be the time to buy a new Astra.

The Astra has been a popular choice of car in the UK for over 30 years since it firms became available in the 1970s, it has for all that time been an extremely popular choice for families and the newest model looks set to continue that trend with the car that will be available at the end of the year going on sale in a 5 door hatch back.

The higher end specifications for the car include a satellite navigation system, these are better when they are integrated into the design of the cars interior as trying to position the satellite navigation when you add it into your car rather than having it built in means you never get the screen where you want it or the buttons are just not in a natural position, and you do not want to be fiddling with your satellite navigation when you are driving.

The new Astra has spent a long time in the wind tunnel this has helped the engineers trim and perfect the design to ensure the newest in the Astra line is the most fuel efficient of the family to date.

Attention to detail seems to be the mantra for the award winning designers of the sixth in the Astra series, the news is that they have researched the 20 most popular things that people keep in their car, they then designed storage for these 20 things. This means that the new Astra will have moulded areas for storage and storage space that can be moved and adapted to allow different items to be stored in the same place.

It is small things like the wind tunnel time and the storage options that move a car from the normal family car to the level of family favourite and that is the place the Astra has felt most comfortable for the past 30 years.

How Disability Equipment Can Provide Valuable Freedom

without comments

Introduction

Mobility - it is only really possible to appreciate what mobility means if your ability to move around freely is compromised, then it takes on a whole new meaning.

Living with someone who is partially disabled gives me an insight into the kind of issues that people with disabilities have to deal with. When you are able and sure footed there is no real understanding of the limitations of not having full mobility of your person. Besides which nobody is particularly interested unless it concerns them directly. We all take it completely for granted when everything works as it should and we get on with living our lives concentrating on making money, raising a family, having a good time and other such normal everyday activities. In fact quite often we don’t even like to see people who are disabled and struggling because it makes us aware of our own vulnerability which reminds us of our mortality. Next time you see someone who is in a wheel chair, notice your own reaction to that person, and be aware of how you avoid eye contact and carefully get out of the way. People who use wheelchairs often say how people they meet will talk to the carer and ignore them as if they are stupid as well deaf.

Early Disability Aids

The first type of disability aid that most people will be familiar with is the walking stick. For some, it will be something to make them feel more steady on their feet when they suffer some impairment in walking. If a person has a broken leg or hip then crutches for a period of time will be needed and later a stick until full mobility returns. When I broke my hip I found the most frustrating thing was that I could not carry a cup of tea from one place to another so I improvised with a trolley on wheels which I could push along. When you have to use two arm crutches as I did to get about, there are no arms left to carry anything. For non spilling things you can use a bag to carry your things in which can be attached to your crutches, but not cups of liquid. Recently when visiting my husband in hospital I watched while the nurses unpacked a Zimmer frame on which they attached a plastic box with a tray for a lid. It was fixed like a basket on a bike. The patient had to practice pushing it along, and I realised it was because he lived on his own and needed to be able to transport things but couldn’t manage without two handed support. These types of early aids are common for people as they get older and lose their youthful mobility because of age related difficulties. They are also required for those who have suffered accidents and injuries so that temporary mobility is affected.

Independence

One of the top frustrations for people being handicapped is the loss of self-sufficiency and freedom to be able to do what they want, when they want. When a person becomes handicapped after years of regular living and independence there will be a great deal of frustration and also a need to make changes for the new situation. Yet, whatever the disability experienced you can geta vast variety of aids to assist people to live as independent a life as possible. Whatever the degree of disability there’s a need for mobility to keep independence.

In the Home

When suffering loss of mobility or normal functioning whatever the reason, the first task is to create safety and functionality in the home where the level of disability determines the type of support needed.

One of the first things to consider is the quality| degree| level of comfort while resting. Correct support in bed and while sitting in a chair will allow the muscles to relax properly so that the body will function as well as possible. There are a range of Orthopaedic beds which allow for many different positions from lying to sitting and the best examples are the hospital beds where you will find electronic buttons to change the position of a patient with ease. Chairs can also be found that will allow for different positions and even a vibrating and massaging function incorporated into the frame. A friend of mine had a chair specially made which reclines, vibrates and massages in three different places and also tips forward when you want to get out for ease of standing up. When we visit we all want to have a go in it because it is such good fun.

The next test when disabled, is the function of toilet, bathing and dressing. There are a huge range of aids to chose from such as commodes and other toilet necessities, grab rails for showers and baths. My mother is severely arthritic and cannot get into the bath anymore, so she has a seat which lowers and raises her in and out of the bath. There are also walk in baths and then specially adapted showers with stools and slip mats to aid the sufferer. Also because my mother is partially sighted she cannot read the numbers anymore, so she has a set of talking weighing scales.

Having managed the getting up, washing and dressing as well as maybe a good rest in the special chair, moving around the residence will be next on the agenda. Depending of the level of incapacity it might be that a simple walking stick or Zimmer frame will support mobility. As well as grab handles in the bathroom, handles can be mounted alongside entrance doors and steps to help with negotiating different levels. Just because people suffer some sort of disability it doesn’t mean that they want to leave their homes, but when they live in a house and have stairs to negotiate then the use of a stair lift is a wonderful invention. Severely handicapped people may need a wheelchair in the home which requires a lot of space and maybe wider doorways to accommodate it.

The next activity for independent living is food preparation and dining. Standing can be a problem so a high stool to perch on might of value. Otherwise do as much preparation as possible sitting at the kitchen/dining table. If a person has a problem with holding cutlery and kitchen utensils, there are specially adapted items with larger handles for ease of use. With arthritis in the wrists, lifting items such as kettles and saucepans can be a problem, but there are available cleverly designed kettle and teapot tippers for ease of pouring. Using a food processer and electric gadgets will save a great deal of time and effort when preparing meals. Another simple aid which my mother found very useful is a grabbing stick or ‘Reacher’ that picks up items to save bending down.

The term electric scooter is just another way of describing a mobility scooter.

Maintaining the home is sometimes difficult for a disabled person. Obviously there are washing machines, dryers and dishwasher to aid with tasks in the home but you can also get remote control vacuum cleaners that are radio controlled with a joystick or key pad such as for toy boats and aeroplanes. Long handled brushes and dusters help with hard to reach corners particularly the microfiber dusters that attract dirt and dust to them.

Other items available for people who experience some level of limitation may be lever type handles for taps to make them easier to use. If a person has lost their grip there are special items to open cans, bottles and jars. Because my mother is partially sighted she has large buttons on her telephone and speed dialling so she can stay in touch with her family who are spread far and wide. She can order goods by phone which means with such aids she is able to retain her independence and stay in her own home. It seems that whatever the disability there is some clever invention to help overcome the problem.

Outside the Home

To enable a person who is disabled to live as normal a life as possible then aids outside the home are just as important as those inside. Wearing an alarm cord around the neck is a wise precaution so that if a person does get into difficulties while outside they can call for help. To be able to move around easily outside may only require a walking stick or a Zimmer frame for support but where mobility is more restricted, wheelchairs or electric scooters may be necessary. My mother used to love to garden but now the arthritis and osteoporosis has taken hold and her eyesight is impaired, she is severely limited in any activity outside. On a good day however she does have a garden stool which enables her to do some weeding and tidying of the flower beds. There are even wheeled seats for moving along the edge of flower beds when weeding. Long handled garden tools can be used to avoid bending or kneeling and raised beds will allow even wheel chair users to tackle the garden plot. Ramps may be installed to allow a wheelchair to move from one level to another, and sit-on lawn mowers are a possibility if you have a big enough lawn.

There is a relatively new product on the market called Flexiloc which is a modular system of tough polyurethane tiles that interlocks to form ramps of any size. It has the advantage of being able to run straight, turn corners, be used indoors or outdoors and has a good grip surface that is more comfortable than conventional surfaces. It can be used as a temporary solution where a permanent ramp is not possible and is easily dismantled to be reused again and again.

If a disabled person relies on a wheelchair then automatic gates and garage doors which open remotely is a big help. Cars or vans used for transporting electric scooters are usually specially tailored vehicles with ramps or lifts to allow the mobility scooter to be loaded up. Sometime cars may have to be adapted to allow for the lack of functioning of particular limbs. My husband cannot manage the foot pedal movement required for gear changing so we have switched to an automatic car to enable him to still drive.

The disability scooter will come with a basket or plastic box on the front to carry your items when shopping.

There is a huge range of mobility scooters available both new and second hand. The mobility scooter is mostly a four wheeled vehicle which travels between four and eight miles an hour. However for the electric scooter there seems to be more three wheeled versions which travel at a maximum of six miles per hour. The speed is determined on the weather, the terrain and riders weight. A three wheeled scooter is inherently less stable and unless greater manoeuvrability is required it is better to get the four wheeled variety. Some scooters can be completely folded up to go into the boot of a car. The scooter usually has a chair with arms mounted over the battery enclosure with handlebars like a bike for turning and controls in reach of the hands. They are very easy to operate and comfortable to ride. The chairs vary with the amount of padding and enclosed back, usually the more expensive the more padding there is.

As well as the open versions of mobility scooters there are enclosed ones to protect the passenger from rain and wind. These come with lights, windscreen wipers, full suspension, mirrors and lockable doors as with a car and can cover larger distances. I have noticed them in my local area travelling along the road rather than on the pavement.

Home Remote Controls

Where an individual is physically unable to get about inside or outside the home the use of remote controls is a valuable aid. Being able to manage and operate your entertainment centre remotely is only one of the possibilities. The availability of remote controls for opening and closing of blinds and curtains, switches for electrical equipment such as ovens, lights, cooking appliance and washing machines, is essential. For people who cannot easily answer the door there is a keyless door entry system designed to fit most latch locks which enable the elderly, the disabled and partially sighted who have difficulty using keys, to manage their security remotely.

One story I read in the paper a few weeks ago was of a young man who was so obese, in the region of forty stone, that he could not move out of his bed. He had an entertainment centre in his room remotely controlled and he ordered food online to be delivered to his house. There were three healthcare workers in attendance at all times to turn him in bed and see to his bodily needs; as well as people to make for him the food he had ordered. He was waiting for a stomach operation to staple his stomach together to reduce his intake of food. And all this was paid for by the tax payer. My feeling was that if there was no one to take such good care of him he would soon lose weight because he would not be able to get about and eat all that food.

Having read that story I question the value of having remote controls so easily available, because the forced activity of getting up and out of your chair to change channels is at least exercise to keep your circulation going. However for people who cannot move around easily then remote controls are a boon I am sure.

Conclusion

For the people who were born with a physical disability, may never know what it is like to be fully mobile and they may always yearn to live a normal life. For those who were once completely functional, when they become disabled they have to come to terms with their loss and face up to their own mortality. If the time comes when you are no longer able to do all the things you used to do, then be sure there are many creative aids to help you maintain as much independence as possible.
